Altitude: 1.357 metres
Flaas is mentioned for the first time in documents that go back to 1186. At that
time it is still called 'Valas', that derives probably from the latin 'vall'
that means valley.
Flaas is a starting point for wonderful excursions for everyone. Along the path you reach many restaurants where you can have a nutricious snack or eat some typical specialities of South Tyrol:
the restaurant Lanzenschuster Hof (1518 metres), the Leitkeller (1330 metres), the Café Marion (1370 metres), the Jenesier Jöchl (1664 metres).
