The Chestnut Weeks will take place again this year. From 8th to 29th October 2023, San Genesio will once again be dominated by the chestnut. A varied programme awaits you with various festivals, the Keschtnmorkt and guided chestnut hikes.

During San Genesio Chestnut Weeks you will experience the „REAL TÖRGGELEN“ in traditional „törggele“ restaurants in Avigna and Cologna.
In San Genesio and Valas you can enjoy in participating restaurants exquisite chestnut-based specialites.
Also various programs, which allow you to combine culinary delights with pleasant excursions, are waiting for you to be discovered!

18. October – „Törggelen“ Cooking course at Neuhäuslhof farm in Avigna
20. October – S. Genesio Chestnut market with transhumance
21. October – „Törggelen“ Festival at the Haflinger museum with the "Schützenkompanie Jenesien"
23. October – „Törggelen“ Excursion with tastings to Cologna
25. October – „Törggelen“ Cooking course at Neuhäuslhof farm in Avigna
30. October – „Törggelen“ Excursion with tastings to Avigna
2. November – „Törggelen“ Excursion with tastings to Cologna
4. November – Closing ceremony of the 4. S. Genesio Chestnut Weeks at Restaurant Gruberhof in Avigna
