Eine Woche ist es her: Bei herrlichstem Wetter🌞 fand der "Spätsommerliche Genussabend" im Dorfzentrum von Jenesien statt - mit Hobbykünstlermarkt, Feuerakrobatikshow mit "Animativa", musikalischer Umrahmung durch "Südtirol 7" sowie natürlich vielen feinen Leckereien von unseren lokalen Gastbetrieben😋🥂
Wir schön, dass so viele mit dabei waren und zu einem guten Gelingen beigetragen haben - ob als Gäste oder Gastgeber, Künstler oder Zuschauer😍
Ein großes Dankeschön euch allen!🙏 **** È già passata una settimana: con un tempo davvero splendido🌞, nel centro del paese di San Genesio si è svolta la festa “Sapore di fine estate”, con il mercatino dell'artigianato, l'animazione con fuoco di “Animativa”, l’accompagnamento musicale dei “Südtirol 7” e, naturalmente, tante prelibatezze proposte dalle nostre attività di ristorazione locali😋🥂
Siamo davvero felici che così tante persone abbiano partecipato e contribuito alla buona riuscita della serata – come ospiti o come parte attiva dell’evento😍
Un grande grazie a tutti voi!🙏 **** One week has passed: Under wonderful weather🌞, the 'Late Summer Evening' took place in the village center of Jenesien - featuring a hobby artist market, a fire acrobatics show by 'Animativa', musical accompaniment by 'Südtirol 7', and of course, many delicacies from our local restaurants😋🥂
How lovely to see so many people participating and contributing to the success of this event - whether as guests or hosts, artists or spectators😍

Starting September 2nd, bus line 158 will take you from Jenesien to Nobls and Glaning – initially for two months, from Wednesday to Sunday. 🍂 🚌
Enjoy relaxed rides directly to the best starting points for your autumn hikes and begin your mountain adventure completely free of parking worries. All details and the current timetable can be found on our website or at our tourist office. ✨

Los geht’s am Parkplatz Kampidell. Von dort wandert man zuerst bis zum Jenesier Jöchl. Anschließend führt der Weg Nr. 23A weiter hinauf zu den beeindruckenden Stoanernen Mandln. Der Rückweg verläuft über die Möltner Kaser und den Weg Nr. 28 zurück zum Ausgangspunkt. 🏔️

Si parte dal parcheggio Kampidell. Da lì si cammina prima fino al Jenesier Jöchl. Successivamente, il sentiero n. 23A conduce più in alto verso gli impressionanti Omini di pietra. Il percorso di ritorno passa per la Möltner Kaser e il sentiero n. 28 per tornare al punto di partenza. 🏔️

The walk starts at the Kampidell car park. From there, you first hike up to the Jenesier Jöchl. The route then follows trail no. 23A further up to the impressive Stoanernen Mandln. The return route takes you via the Möltner Kaser and trail no. 28 back to the starting point. 🏔️

Tradition, duftende Kräutersträuße und Sommergefühle: Wir wünschen euch einen wunderschönen 15. August! ☀️🌸
An diesem besonderen Feiertag steht ein alter Brauch im Mittelpunkt: das Binden und Segnen der Kräutersträuße. Bis zu 99 verschiedene Heilkräuter, Blumen und Getreideähren werden gesammelt – als Dank für die Gaben der Natur und als Schutz vor Unwettern und Krankheit für das kommende Jahr. Nach der feierlichen Messe nehmen viele den duftenden Strauß mit nach Hause, wo er einen Ehrenplatz bekommt.

Tradizione, mazzetti di erbe profumate e atmosfera estiva: vi auguriamo un meraviglioso 15 agosto! ☀️🌸
In questa giornata festiva speciale, al centro dell’attenzione c’è un’antica usanza: la preparazione e la benedizione dei mazzi di erbe. Vengono raccolti fino a 99 diversi tipi di erbe medicinali, fiori e spighe di cereali, in segno di ringraziamento per i doni della natura e come protezione dalle intemperie e dalle malattie per l’anno a venire. Dopo la messa solenne, molti portano a casa il profumato mazzo, dove gli viene riservato un posto d’onore.

Tradition, fragrant bouquets of herbs, and summer vibes: We wish you a wonderful August 15th! ☀️🌸
On this special holiday, the focus is on an ancient custom: the making and blessing of herb bouquets. Up to 99 different medicinal herbs, flowers and ears of grain are gathered – as a token of gratitude for nature’s bounty and as protection against storms and illness for the coming year. After the festive mass, many take the fragrant bouquet home, where it is given a place of honour.
