🎉Wir feiern heuer 75 Jahre Tourismusverein Jenesien – und nehmen euch in unserer Serie mit auf eine kleine Zeitreise⌛😍

📍Alles begann am 19. Januar 1951: 16 engagierte Jenesier gründeten den „Pro-Loco-Verschönerungsverein“ und legten das Ziel fest, "Verständnis und Sinn für die Verschönerung von Jenesien zu wecken [...], um so das äußere Ansehen zu verbessern und den Aufenthalt angenehmer zu gestalten”.

Schon vorher hatten Sommerfrischler Erholung auf Bauernhöfen in Jenesien gesucht. Mit dem Bau der ersten Seilbahnverbindung der Region nahm der Fremdenverkehr noch mehr Fahrt auf. Deshalb setzten die Gründungsmitglieder schnell erste Maßnahmen um...

🎉 Quest’anno celebriamo i 75 anni dell’Associazione Turistica San Genesio – e vi portiamo con noi in un piccolo viaggio nel tempo con la nostra serie⌛😍

📍Tutto ebbe inizio il 19 gennaio 1951: 16 cittadini impegnati di San Genesio fondarono la “Pro Loco per l’abbellimento”, definendo l’obiettivo di “promuovere la consapevolezza e il senso per l’abbellimento di San Genesio […], migliorandone così l’aspetto esteriore e rendendo il soggiorno più piacevole”.

Già prima, villeggianti estivi cercavano ristoro nei masi a San Genesio. Con la costruzione della prima funivia della zona, il turismo ricevette un ulteriore impulso. Per questo i soci fondatori misero rapidamente in atto prime iniziative…

🎉 This year we celebrate 75 years of the Jenesien Tourism Association – and take you on a little journey through time in our series⌛😍

📍It all began on January 19, 1951: 16 dedicated locals founded the “Pro Loco Beautification Association”, setting the goal to “foster awareness and appreciation for the beautification of Jenesien […], thereby improving its outward appearance and making stays more enjoyable.”

Even before that, summer visitors had been seeking relaxation on farms in Jenesien. With the construction of the first cable car in the region, tourism gained even more momentum. Therefore, the founding members quickly put first initiatives into action…

Das Schwimmbad Jenesien öffnet am kommenden Freitag, 01.05.2026 wieder seine Tore! 🏊Die Wetterprognosen versprechen Sonnenschein und warme Temperaturen🌞. Morgen führt die letzte, 128,6 km lange Etappe des Profi-Radrennens "Tour of the Alps 2026" von Trient entlang der Südtiroler Weinstraße nach Kaltern und anschließend über Jenesien zur Zieleinfahrt nach Bozen🚴🚴.
Dort wird auf dem Gerichtsplatz der Gesamtsieger gekürt. Ein wirklich spannendes Sportereignis!😍
❗Achtung: Die betroffenen Landesstraßen LS 99 und LS 171 im Gemeindegebiet Jenesien sind deshalb zwischen 13 und 16 Uhr für den gesamten Verkehr gesperrt.

Domani la tappa finale di 128,6 km della gara ciclistica professionistica “Tour of the Alps 2026” partirà da Trento, lungo la Strada del Vino dell’Alto Adige fino a Caldaro e poi proseguirà attraverso San Genesio verso l’arrivo a Bolzano 🚴🚴.
Lì, in Piazza Tribunale, verrà incoronato il vincitore della classifica generale. Un evento sportivo davvero emozionante! 😍
❗Attenzione: Le strade provinciali interessate LS 99 e LS 171 nel comune di San Genesio saranno chiuse al traffico dalle 13 alle 16.

Tomorrow, the final 128.6 km stage of the professional cycling race “Tour of the Alps 2026” will start in Trento, run along the South Tyrolean Wine Road to Caldaro, and then continue via Jenesien towards the finish in Bolzano 🚴🚴.
There, in Piazza Tribunale, the overall winner will be crowned. A truly exciting sporting event! 😍

75 Jahre Tourismusverein Jenesien - ein echter Meilenstein!🎉🥳 1951 gründeten 16 engagierte Jenesier den "Pro-Loco-Verschönerungsverein".

Schon früh wurde viel bewegt: der Dorfzugang wurde gepflastert, Sitzbänke und Orientierungstafeln aufgestellt und der erste Ortsprospekt veröffentlicht. In den 1970ger Jahren folgten u.a. der Ausbau von Wanderwegen sowie das Schwimmbad. 1966 wurde der Verein zunächst in "Verkehrsverein", 1993 dann in "Tourismusverein" umbenannt.

Im Fokus unserer Arbeit stehen heute sanfter Tourismus, das Haflinger Pferd und das Thema Nachhaltigkeit. DANKE für 75 Jahre Engagement!🍀💪

75 anni dell’Associazione Turistica di San Genesio – un vero traguardo! 🎉🥳Nel 1951, 16 abitanti di San Genesio fondarono l’“Associazione Pro Loco per l’Abbellimento del Paese”.

Fin dall’inizio sono stati realizzati molti progetti: la pavimentazione dell’accesso al paese, l’installazione di panchine e cartelli informativi, e la pubblicazione del primo opuscolo. Negli anni ’70 seguirono, tra le altre cose, lo sviluppo dei sentieri escursionistici e l’apertura della piscina. Nel 1966 l’associazione venne rinominata “Associazione del Traffico” e nel 1993 assunse il nome di “Associazione Turistica”.

Oggi il nostro lavoro si concentra su un turismo dolce, sul cavallo Haflinger e sulla sostenibilità. GRAZIE per 75 anni di impegno! 🍀💪

75 years of the Jenesien Tourism Association – a true milestone! 🎉🥳In 1951, 16 committed residents of Jenesien founded the “Pro-Loco Beautification Association”.

From the very beginning, a lot was achieved: the village access road was paved, benches and orientation signs were installed, and the first village brochure was published. In the 1970s, projects such as the expansion of hiking trails, and the opening of the swimming pool followed. In 1966, the association was renamed “Traffic Association,” and in 1993 it became the “Tourism Association.”

Today, our work focuses on gentle tourism, the Haflinger horse, and sustainability. THANK YOU for 75 years of commitment!🍀💪

Am Samstag, 04.04.2026 wurde im Dorfzentrum von Jenesien mit dem "Nesinger Ostergenussmarkt" das Osterfest eingeläutet. Warme Sonnenstrahlen, farbenfrohe Frühlingsblumen und liebevoll dekorierte Stände lockten zahlreiche Besucher auf den Bibliotheksplatz. Zum Genießen gab's eine reichhaltige Auswahl:

🍺 erfrischendes Bier
🍷 regionalen Eigenbauwein
🐟 frische und geräucherte Fischspezialitäten
🥩 herzhafte Fleischgerichte
🥕 knackiges Biogemüse
🍪 süßes Ostergebäck, Krapfen & hausgemachte Marmeladen

Zum Stöbern und Entdecken luden der Flohmarkt der Seniorenvereinigung von Jenesien sowie Stände mit bunter Osterdeko ein - ein rundum gelungener Frühlingsauftakt!

Sabato 04/04/2026, il centro del paese di San Genesio ha dato il via alla festività pasquale con il “Nesinger Mercatino di Pasqua”. Raggi di sole caldi, fiori primaverili colorati e bancarelle decorate con cura hanno attirato numerosi visitatori in Piazza della Biblioteca. Da gustare, una ricca selezione:

🍺 birra fresca
🍷 vino regionale fatto in casa
🐟 specialità di pesce fresco e affumicato
🥩 piatti di carne saporiti
🥕 verdure biologiche croccanti
🍪 dolci pasquali, "Krapfen" e marmellate fatte in casa

Per curiosare e scoprire, erano presenti il mercatino dell’usato della Assistenza agli Anziani di San Genesio e bancarelle con colorata decorazione pasquale – un eccellente inizio di primavera!

On Saturday, April 4th, 2026, in the village center of Jenesien the Easter celebrations have been started with the “Nesinger Easter gourmet market”. Warm sunshine, colorful spring flowers, and lovingly decorated stands attracted numerous visitors to the Library Square. To enjoy, a rich selection:

🍺 refreshing beer
🍷 regional homemade wine
🐟 fresh and smoked fish specialties
🥩 hearty meat dishes
🥕 crisp organic vegetables
🍪 sweet Easter pastries, "Krapfen" & homemade jams

For browsing and discovering, the flea market organized by the Jenesien Seniors’ Association and stands with colorful Easter decorations invited the visitors – a perfect spring kickoff!
