Start in the village centre of Aldino/Aldein on the main road. Cross over to the left side and follow marker no. 17 past lush meadows and through young pine woodland. As you descend gently, a sign soon directs you left to the Göllersee lake.{MQ} At the Pigleidermoos biotope, the trail marked “R” leads through the sometimes sparse pine and mixed woodland and over polished porphyry slabs down to the Göllersee lake. Turn right from the lake via the forest road “S”. Below the road near the Bärenbad pond, a signpost directs to the Rotwand. The unique viewpoint, encompassing the entire Etschtal, is about a 15 minute walk. {MQ} From the Rotwand viewpoint return to the forest road and follow this for about 20 minutes. The trail marked “0” leads to the left back to the height of the Pigleidermoos biotope. Follow marker “0” and you come to the Pigleiderhof inn. Take the road and the service road to the Schönblick inn. From there, take the country road back to the starting point in about 10 minutes.
