The beautiful nature of Jenesien
Back in Jenesien, the almost unspoilt nature of the Salten, Europe's highest larch plateau, which extends above the village, invites you to recharge your batteries, linger, discover and enjoy - on gently undulating paths, on foot, by bike, in a carriage or even on the back of a ‘blond’ Haflinger horse. And in addition to the wonderful views in mostly glorious sunshine, the characteristic neo-Gothic church - first documented in 1439 and consecrated in 1465 by Bishop Georg Hack of Trento in honour of St Genesius, St Sylvester and St Margaret - as well as the town hall in the former fortified tower with its battlements, embrasures and a Gothic bell tower, one thing above all awaits you here with us: Pure enjoyment and genuine South Tyrolean hospitality. Not only in Jenesien itself - but also in the neighbouring hamlets of Afing, Glaning, Flaas and Nobls.
