Circumnavigation Nature Park Monte Corno

The tour starts in the centre of Truden im Naturpark and follows the long-distance hiking trail E5 towards Ziss Saddle (1,448 m). The route continues uphill to Horn Alm (1,710 m), where you can enjoy a magnificent panoramic view of the Lagorai mountain range, Pale di San Martino, White Horn and Black Horn. From there, the trail descends back towards Ziss Saddle and continues to Krabes Alm. The return route leads past the Langes Moos biotope, along side roads to Solaiolo and follows the old railway track via San Lugano and Kaltenbrunn back to Truden im Naturpark. The trail is marked with route number 1.
Possible refreshment stops: Horn Alm and Krabes Alm Alpine farms, Hotel Restaurant Schönwies and Hotel Restaurant Trudnerhof at Trodena i.N.

- Take the train from Bolzano railway station to Neumarkt-Tramin railway station. There, change to bus line 144 and continue to the Truden, Kirche bus stop, where you get off.
- From Bolzano railway station, take bus line 120 to Neumarkt bus station. There, change to bus line 144. Afterwards, continue to the Truden, Kirche bus stop, where you get off.
Please check in advance whether bicycles can be taken on the bus.
