Starting from theHauptplatz/Piazza Principale in Auer, through the beautiful, historic labyrinth of alleys in the direction of the waterfall. Via the "Katzenleiter" hiking path steeply uphill to the beautiful "Leiterburg".
Once there, a fabulous view over the entire valley awaits the hikers. On this historical site you will find old wall remains and traces of the former castle.
The way back is via the "Lahnweg".

The circular hike starts at the main square of Auer. Through the historic streets of the village, the trail leads towards the waterfall and climbs steeply via Katzenleiter to Schlossberg. Enjoy impressive views over the South Tyrolean lowlands and discover old wall remains and traces of the former Leiterburg. The return route follows the Lahnweg trail back to Auer.
