Roadbook
From the valley station of the Colle/Kohlern cable car, trail no. 1 leads along the Via Campegno road and past Kampenn Castle until you reach Bagni di S. Isidoro after about 2h. While trail no. 1 would lead directly to Kohlern and the cable car mountain station in another hour, trail no. 7 branches off at Bagni di S. Isidoro/Bad St. Isidor in the direction of the Wolftstal valley. In just under 2 hours, this trail leads through the Wolfstal valley and along the European long distance path E5 to the Totes Moos biotope. From there, follow trail no. 1 past the Rotenstein and Rotwand viewpoints to Schneiderwiesen and the top station of the cable car in Colle/Kohlern. The cable car takes you back down to the valley.
The hike can, of course, also be done in the opposite direction by first taking the cable car and then hiking down into the valley from Colle/Kohlern.
