The hike begins at the mountain station of the Oberholz panoramic chairlift. From there, follow trail no. 18 to the spectacular Latemar.360° viewing platform, an ideal spot for a short break with wide-ranging views of the surrounding Dolomite peaks.
The route then continues to Passo Feudo, another impressive viewpoint located directly beneath the steep Latemar walls.
For the return, the trail leads across the expansive alpine meadows of the Reiterjoch, passing the Zischg Alm and then the Ganischger Alm.
Finally, the route passes the Mayrl Alm and leads back to the Oberholz mountain station, the starting point of the loop.

The hike takes place in alpine terrain and requires sure-footedness. Avoid the route during thunderstorms, as some sections offer little shelter. Weather conditions can change quickly in the mountains.Roadbook
The hike starts at the Obereggen valley station. The ascent can be shortened by taking the Oberholz chairlift to the mountain station. From there, the panoramic trail follows the slopes beneath the Latemar massif, offering constantly changing views of the Dolomite peaks.
The route crosses alpine meadows and larch forests towards the Reiterjoch area and several panoramic viewpoints around Latemar. Mountain huts along the way provide opportunities for refreshments. The return follows well-marked trails back to the Oberholz mountain station or the Obereggen valley station.
