Diese Etappe führt vom Dorf Gfrill, das auf 1.300 m liegt, nach Montan, auf 500 m ü. M. Zunächst geht es leicht bergauf zum Gfrillner Sattel und anschließend abwärts nach Gschnon – hier können Wanderer eine Pause einlegen. Hierauf geht es über Gsteig (Einkehr- und Übernachtungsmöglichkeit) weiter bergab zum beeindruckenden Glener Wasserfall. Das letzte Stück führt über die alte Bahntrasse der ehemaligen Fleimstalbahn nach Montan, dem Blauburgunderdorf.
Tipp auf dieser Route: Abstecher von Gsteig auf die beeindruckende Kanzel hoch über dem Unterland. Hier genießt man einen fantastischen Ausblick.
