Vom Rathausplatz im Zentrum von St. Michael folgt man der Markierung 22 zum „Übereschter Spazierweg“ nach Kaltern. Am Ende der Strecke befindet sich eine alte Dampflokomotive. Der Rückweg erfolgt über dieselbe Route.

Kurze Variante: kleiner Parkplatz zu Beginn des „Überetscher Spazierweg“, direkt an der Umfahrungsstraße einsteigen, weiter wie beschrieben.
