The Mazzon walk begins in the center of Egna, in Via Val di Fiemme. From there, turn right in Via Geiger and follow the passeggiata di Mazzon (Mazzon walk) signs. Continue through the invitingly quiet deciduous wood and further on, turn right onto path no. 8. At the barrier, turn left and continue on the path up to Mazzon. Once you have reached Mazzon, take path no. 15. At the edge of the village, across the river to Villa in the gorge of the Valle dei Mulini, rise the ruins of Caldivo Castle. It must have been magnificent in its heyday! If you then take path no. 3, you return to Egna.
