The classic tour starts in Truden im Naturpark and descends to the old sawmill. Following a forest path through the Kaltwassertal valley, the route climbs to Passo Cisa (1,448 m). Continuing onwards, you reach the Malghette, the highest point of the tour. The route then descends to Anterivo and San Lugano. Following the old railway track, it returns to Kaltenbrunn and back to Truden im Naturpark.

- From Bolzano train station, take the train to Neumarkt-Tramin railway station. There, change to bus line 144 and get off at the Truden im Naturpark, Church stop.
