Die Voltruier Runde startet im Dorfzentrum von Altrei. Von dort folgt man dem Wanderweg Nr. 7 zur Fraulalm. Anschließend führt die Route auf dem Weg Nr. 13 durch Wald- und Wiesenlandschaften in Richtung Guggal. Über den Sagenweg und den Wanderweg Nr. 14 gelangt man schließlich zurück nach Altrei und zum Ausgangspunkt. Die Rundwanderung bietet schöne Ausblicke auf den Naturpark Trudner Horn und die umliegende Berglandschaft
