    Author’s recommendation

A special highlight of this tour is the "Peter Anich" solar observatory near Gummer, named after the cartographer Peter Anich. Visitors can use the solar telescope in the dome, which measures about 4.5 meters in diameter, on Sunday afternoons for a unique view of the sun.
