Unterkoflerhof

Our Unterkoflerhof is our heart, our pride, and our home. There is always plenty of work to do on the farm: about 18 cows need to be milked and cared for, the young cattle and the ox must be taken out to pasture, a dozen chickens scratch around the yard, the pigs enjoy fresh grass, and the hunting dogs wait eagerly for their exercise. In winter, Franz and the sons are busy with woodwork, and in summer there is even more to do outdoors: the hayfields call, the garden needs weeding, and the vineyard must be tended. In late summer, we always look forward to gathering fresh mushrooms (chanterelles, porcini, boletes, parasol mushrooms) in our forest. In autumn, it’s time for the “Wimmen,” the grape harvest, and of course for collecting chestnuts. In the winter of 2011/2012, we began renovating our old farmhouse. We are very happy with the result. The exterior walls, as well as some of the interior walls, were preserved. Wooden ceilings were added, and the entire house was renovated in a sustainable and unique way. The farmhouse now also includes two spacious, bright holiday apartments, offering wonderful views of the surrounding mountains. We want to give our guests insight into our farm life while offering them peace and relaxation. We look forward to welcoming you!
