Lanzenschuster - Sattler hut

At Lanzenschusterhof, homemade is the top motto: hearty appetizers with alpine wild plants, fine specialties from the ox and game meet traditional South Tyrolean cuisine. You can relax on the sun terrace while the children romp on the playground or watch the animals at the petting zoo.

The hike is doable all year round: in winter as a snowshoe route, in autumn – when the larches turn yellow-gold, in summer because of the lush green mountain meadows – and especially in the spring months the alpine meadows turn into a sea of blooms of crocuses and other spring flowers.

The Sattler hut is a very nicely located rustic alpine pasture below the Mölten Kaser. It offers good meals, a sun terrace, and a children's playground.
