Hiking on the Keschtnweg
Ritten
Hiking & Törggelen: This ancient South Tyrolean custom alone is worth a trip. From October until "Kathreinstag" 25 November, people meet for Törggelen in the Renon Buschenschanks and farm taverns with young wine, sweet must, and hearty delicacies. When chestnuts are roasted over the "Keschtn fire" you feel transported back to the rural world of old times. Uniquely rustic!
Places to eat: Buschenschank Kinighof, Buschenschank Partschonerhof, Gasthof Fleier, Gasthaus Pirbamer, Gasthof Wunder and Buschenschank Rielingerhof.
Parts of the pilgrimage path "Jakobsweg South Tyrol" also run along the Keschtnweg.
