From Aldino to Göller lake - winter hiking
Südtirols Süden
This hiking tour will lead us through a pine wood to the idyllic Lake Göller, to the “Göller Spitz” (Peak Göller) and the “Rotwand”, a spectacular cliff with an amazing panoramic view of the South Tyrolean mountains and the Val d’Adige. On our way home we will see a ruin called “Burgstallegg” and one of the most beautiful biotopes in South Tyrol, the “Pigleider Moos”.

Our tour starts at the village square in Aldino. We take the one-way-street (left side of the Raiffeisen bank) and cross the main street. Then we follow the trail n. 17 to the Lake Göller. This trail will guide us also to the “Göller Spitz” and the “Rotwand”. Here we will have an incredible view of the southern valleys of South Tyrol.
We continue our tour by following the trail n. 17 until we reach the ruins of “Burgstallegg”. Then we go back to the junction and turn right (trail n. 17 B). This way will bring us to the biotope “Pigleider Moos”. The trail n. 17 leads us directly back to Aldino, passing the restaurant “Schönblick”.
