The winter hike on the Panorama Trail is an easy, family-friendly hike with fascinating views of the Dolomites.
The Panorama Trail starts at the mountain station of the Rittner Horn cable car at the Schwarzseespitze, following the signs for "Panorama Trail". It is worth stopping at the "Runder Tisch" viewpoint to enjoy the winter landscape and the panoramic view of the Dolomites. The flat, groomed hiking trail continues to the next viewpoint, the "Dolomitoskop". A circular hike suitable for the whole family to enjoy the mountain air and the wonderful panorama.

From Bolzano, the valley station of the Rittner cable car 161, where a gondola leaves the station every four minutes, float to Oberbozen in just 12 minutes, then take the Rittner narrow-gauge railroad 160 to Klobenstein in 18 minutes. Connecting bus 166 at Klobenstein station, which takes 10 minutes to Pemmern to the valley station of the Rittner Horn cable car. Timetable at www.ritten.com/mobilOr take bus 165 from Bolzano/Bozen bus station to Klobenstein/Klobenstein, Kaiserau. Change there to bus 166 and after a 10-minute ride you will reach the Rittner Horn valley station, where a gondola leaves every two minutes and in 10 minutes you will be floating up to the Schwarzseespitze at 2,000 m above sea level, where the panoramic trail begins.
Directions
From Bolzano by car, follow the signs for "Ritten" until before Klobenstein and then follow the signs for "Rittner Horn" until you reach the valley station of the Rittner Horn cable car. It is approx. 22 km from Bolzano to Pemmern.
By public transport from Bolzano with the Rittner cable car, where a gondola leaves the station every 4 minutes. After a 12-minute panoramic ride you reach Oberbozen. The Renon tramway departs from there every half hour and after an 18-minute ride through meadows and forests you arrive at Klobenstein station. If you start in Oberbozen at 8:36, 9:36, 10:36, 11:36, 12:36, 13:36, 14:36 or 15:36, you will arrive in Klobenstein in time for the connecting bus 166, which departs at 9:03, 10:03, 11:03, 12:03, 13:03, 14:03, 15:03, 16:03 and reaches the valley station of the Rittner Horn cable car after 10 minutes.
