Not difficult path with some grades. Due to the countless spring flowers this hiking tour is especially recommended in the period end of February - beginning of March. Start- and final point: historical centre of Caldaro/Kaltern. Duration of walking: about 3.5 hours. Different of altitude: about 170 meters.

Wegverlauf: Über die Trutschstraße zur Weinstraße und dem Feldweg (Markierung anfangs Nr. 3, dann Nr. 20A) folgen. Am Matscherhof vorbei, bei der Weggabelung geradeaus und bei der nächsten Rechtskurve des Feldweges wiederum halb links hinauf in den Wald. Am Forstweg "Kasterneien" angelangt, links abbiegen (Markierung Nr. 20) zum Frühlingstal. Bei der Brücke geradeaus weiter zum Mazzoner Wanderweg links abbiegen und über diesen (Markierung Nr. 5) nach Kaltern zurück.
