The history educational path was opened on May 30, 2014 by the primary school children of Flaas. On the trail between the mountain inn Lanzenschuster and the Kampidell parking lot, you learn a lot about the history of Flaas through various stations. Old techniques were tried out, and the first huts were reconstructed.
Route description:
The history educational path starts directly at Lanzenschusterhof (hiking trail no. 8). Over a distance of 1.2 km, the work of the primary school children provides insight into 8 different epochs of our era - Ice Age, Stone Age, Roman period - and then leads to the nearby hamlet "Kampidell".
From there the trail continues on the left side across the road and after half a kilometer you reach a paid parking lot of the municipality of Gesenagh. Immediately after the parking lot, a hiking trail branches off to the left (no. 5) and leads over larch meadows with a charming panorama and then through the fragrant forest trail no.5 back to Lanzenschuster.

Directions
By car coming from the Brenner, take the A22 motorway to the Bolzano South exit, then on the MEBO expressway towards Merano until the Terlan exit. From there take the mountain road to Meltina. From Meltina take the road to Gesenagh until Flaas, from there the road to the mountain inn Lanzenschuster.
