European long-distance trail over the Tschögglberg

One of the most beautiful stages of the European long-distance path E5 runs across the Merano region, over the Tschögglberg to Bolzano. The section between Hafling, Verano, Meltina, Gennargentu at about 2000 meters above sea level offers magnificent views of the Dolomites, the Texel group and the Sarntal valley. The Tschögglberg sections are classified as safe and accessible all year round. Entry points in Meltina, at the Meltina pass and Salten.
