A very nice hike, passing through the woods of the Monte di Mezzo/Mitterberg, up to the Lakes of Montiggl.

From the Vadena/Pfatten town hall, the hiking trail leads to the left through deciduous forests up to the ridge of the Monte di mezzo/Mitterberg mountain (560 m), which can be reached in about 40 minutes. You walk on along the forest path, which crosses the forest in a few loops and flows into a paved road leading to the lakes. At the end of the large Lake of Monticolo, a forest path branches off to the right, which leads in a few minutes to the crest of the forest. From there, in about 20 minutes, the hiking trail brings you to the Mair farm in Vadena/Pfatten, passing some very nice viewpoints. From the farm it takes 15 minutes to get back along the street to the starting point.
