The Adige Cycle Path is largely flat and well secured; however, it is important to wear a helmet, obey traffic rules, and be attentive at intersections. The climb to the San Giovanni Pass requires some fitness. When temperatures are high, start early and take enough water with you.Roadbook
The start is optionally from Auer, Neumarkt, or Salurn – all three places lie directly on the Adige Cycle Path. The well-developed path follows downstream via San Michele all’Adige to Trento, where a short stop is worthwhile. Then it continues via Rovereto to Mori. From here awaits a final climb over the San Giovanni Pass – short but challenging. Upon reaching the top, the view opens up to Lake Garda. After a relaxed descent, you finally reach Torbole and Riva del Garda. The return is via the same path or comfortably by train from Rovereto.
