From the Rathausplatz (main square) head along the Hans-Feur street, the town's main road, till to the fairground and continue till the hotel "Winzerhof". On the curve on the right just follow path 11 direction Söll. Passing by the restaurant "Plattenhof" (closed on Monday) just continue on asphalt street till the firefighters casern of Söll. Turn right on the old roman street n. 11 direction Altenburg and continue on the panoramic path till the firefighters casern of Altenburg. There you will find a view point on the Caldaro Lake and behind that you will find probably one of the oldest churches of Tirol: The st.-Peter-basilica.
Returned back on the same path just follow the asphalt street to Söll or take the "Rastenbachklamm" to the Caldaro Lake or back to Tramin.
