Vom Startpunkt aus folgt man dem Radweg Richtung Kaltern. Am Ende des Radweges biegt man nach links und fährt eine Straße hinunter ins Lavasontal. Am Ende der Neigung biegen Sie nach rechts ab und fahren Richtung Kalterer See. Am See angekommen fahren Sie bei Klughammer vorbei bis Sie an der Kreuzung mit der Hauptstraße ankommen. Sie folgen der Straße Richtung Auer und biegen vor der Ortschaft links in den Radweg wieder ein. Dieser führt Sie der Etsch entlang Richtung Sigmundskron. Dort folgen Sie dem Radweg Richtung Frangart und dann nach St. Michael | Eppan.
