From Andrian along the Gaider Gorge to the ruins of Festenstein Castle - the path is only recommended for experts - on to the hamlet of Gaid (Moarhof), then down the Larchsteig to the Bittnerhof and back to Andrian.

From the car park at the upper end of the Bindergasse, path no. 15 leads directly into the Gaider Gorge. The gorge is moderately steep at the beginning, later very steep. In the rocky bush terrain it takes about 1 hour to climb up to the ruins of Festenstein Castle. From there you follow trail nr. 15 for about 20 minutes to Gaid. Heading north, take the forest path "Larchsteig" marker F, to the Bittner Buschenschank. To the right you continue to the farms Regele and Kofler and then through beautiful mixed deciduous forest on trail nr. 5 back to Andrian.
