Starting point is the parking spot in front of the church in Vilpian. On the Nalser road cross the Adige bridge and continue to the roundabout to get to the so-called "South Tyrolean Apfelradweg" ("Cycling route of the apple"). Here turn right in the direction of Lana. On this route, which is used by some cars and tractors, you will also pass two snack stations. At the crossroads to Gargazon turn left towards Lana "Krebsbach" cross-country through various apple orchards. Continue past the Brandis golf course to Lana center or ride back on the Konsortialweg towards the bridge to Gargazon, cross it and turn left shortly after to reach Gargazon train station. Here take the bike path and ride back to Vilpian.
