From the parking lot (1161 m) at the northern end of the village of Truden, the forest path Praglasir (marking 2) branches off from the state road through meadows and sparse larch mixed forest to the northwest. At the left curve, we continue straight on marking 2A, which leads us to the “Hohe Wand”. Suddenly, we find ourselves in the middle of an alpine scenario: alpine roses, dwarf pine, alpine leadwort, saxifrage, alpine clematis cover the rock and steep slopes on the shady north slope of the Cislon. The impressive panorama spans the Lagoraik range, Schwarz- and Weißhorn, the Zillertal Alps, the Texel Group and beneath us the wide Adige valley. After a completely safe rock crossing, we are surrounded by mixed fir forest. Above the forest path (marking 2), we reach the open meadow areas of the Cislonalm (1490 m, open year-round). In front of us lie the dark fir forests on the north slope of Trudner Horn and Königswiese; above the Mendel ridge rise the rocky peaks of the Brenta group. Heat-loving pine, beech and shrub vegetation accompany our return path to Truden (marking 1).
