Hike around La Costa/Seit

The hike starts at the Rechtebner inn in La Costa/Seit and follows trail no. 12, the high altitude trail of Laives/Leifers, to the intersection with trail no. 3 below the Church of Blessed Henry. Turning right along path no. 3, you pass the church, the Rutterhof farm and continue to the Köhlhof farm, where you briefly follow the tarmac road. At the intersection with path no. 3A, continue along this path to the right, up to the Schneiderwiesen hotel.

After a short rest at the hotel, paths no. 1 and 5A lead to the Titschenwarte view point: a small, idyllic wooden pavilion that offers a wonderful panoramic view of the Val d'Ega/Eggental and the surrounding mountains. Follow path no. 5 in the direction of "Totes Moos" to return to path no. 1, along which you will pass the scenic views of Rotwand (1B) and Rotenstein (1A). From there you have a beautiful panoramic view over Laives/Leifers and the surrounding villages. Continuing along gravel path no. 1 and, after the biotope "Totes Moos", path no. 1A, you reach the Spörlhof farm, which is located in the municipality of Nova Ponente/Deutschnofen. From there, follow trail no. 12A back to the starting point at the Rechtebner inn.
