The Sattlerhütte is a beautifully situated, rustic alp below the Möltner Kaser. The hike is possible in every season: in winter as a snowshoe tour, in autumn, when the larches turn yellow-gold, in summer because of the lush green mountain meadows and especially in the spring months,when the alpine meadows turn into a sea of crocuses and other spring flowers.
Starting from the parking lot Kircheben you will reach the mountain hut in about one hour by walking along the hiking path nr. 15A.

This excursion starts at Meltina, by the hiking trail no. 13. This way leads you to the crossroad with the road "Hohlweg", where you take path no. 15 to arrive directly at the alpine hut "Sattlerhütte".

Directions
By car from the Brenner Pass, take the A22 motorway to the Bolzano Sud exit, then take the MEBO expressway in the direction of Meran until the Terlan exit. From there, take the mountain road to Mölten.
