From Signat the trail leads downhill through the gently rolling vineyards to the viewing platform with its magnificent views of Bozen, then on to the Loosmannhof, to the settlement of St. Justina and down to Rentsch in the historic wine-growing estate of Ansitz Waldgries. The same route leads back uphill from Bozen to Signat.

A hiking and wine trail with artistic design from Signat (Ritten) to Rentsch (Bolzano). The sunny mountain slope between Bolzano and Ritten, is one of the noblest wine sites in South Tyrol. Along the wine staircase, the ten artistically designed installations offer an exciting insight into the culture of viticulture. From Signat we hike down through the gentle wine hills to the viewing platform with a magnificent view of Bolzano, on to the Loosmannhof farm and the settlement of St. Justina, and then down to Rentsch to the historic Ansitz Waldgries winery. Ascending, the same path leads from Bolzano to Signat.
